Before Your Facial Treatment

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment for a personalized consultation with one of our expertly trained specialists. This ensures we understand your goals, tailor your treatment, and maximize your results.
  • Arrive with Clean Skin: If possible, avoid wearing heavy makeup, sunscreen, or skincare products. Your esthetician will start with a fresh canvas.
  • Your Normal Routine is Fine: You may follow your usual morning skincare routine, but skip strong exfoliants, peels, or masks.
  • Pause Retinol & Actives: Discontinue retinol, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, or strong actives at least 3 days before to prevent sensitivity.
  • Skip Harsh Exfoliation: Avoid scrubs, peels, or deep exfoliation at home before your facial. Your treatment will provide professional exfoliation.
  • Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your facial will enhance hydration and boost your glow.
  • Shower Before Your Facial: Warm water helps open pores, making extractions easier—especially for deep-cleansing facials or back facials.
  • Mind Your Diet: Limit alcohol, fried foods, and excessive sugar 1-2 days prior, as they can cause dehydration or irritation.
  • Reduce Caffeine Intake: If possible, limit caffeine before your appointment to help you fully relax.
  • Plan Around Events: Schedule your facial at least 5-7 days before a major event to allow time for your skin to fully settle.
  • Comfort & Consultation: You’ll change into a plush robe for total relaxation, and your esthetician will conduct a personalized skin consultation to customize your treatment.

After Your Facial Treatment

Your skin will feel deeply cleansed, hydrated, and radiant. To extend your glow and minimize sensitivity, follow these aftercare tips:

  • Expect a Fresh Glow & Temporary Sensitivity: Your skin will be deeply hydrated but more delicate post-treatment.
  • Avoid Touching Your Face: Your pores are open—keep hands off to prevent bacteria from causing breakouts.
  • Skip Makeup & Actives for 48 Hours: Avoid foundation, retinol, AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C, and strong exfoliants for at least 48 hours to allow your skin to recover.
  • Stay Out of Direct Sunlight: Freshly exfoliated skin is more prone to sun damage—wear SPF 30+ daily and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
  • Avoid Heat & Sweat for 24 Hours: Skip intense workouts, saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers to prevent redness or irritation.
  • Hydrate & Nourish Your Skin: Drink plenty of water and apply a soothing, hydrating moisturizer recommended by your esthetician.
  • No Picking or Squeezing: If extractions were performed, let your skin heal naturally—resist the urge to touch or pick.
  • Use Recommended Skincare: Enhance your glow by incorporating soothing serums, hydrating masks, or calming treatments from your esthetician’s post-care regimen.
  • Plan Your Next Facial: To maintain optimal skin health, schedule your next treatment every 4-6 weeks or adjust your skincare routine based on your esthetician’s recommendations.
